About Cakale

Technology built by people who know the work

Who we are, what we are building, and where the name Cakale comes from.

Who we are

Made by people who care about the work

We build software for schools, construction teams and growing businesses. We listen to the people who use it, and we keep improving it until it fits the way they really work.

Cakale Edu and Cakale Build are live today, and there is more on the way.

What is coming next

  1. 01

    Less busywork

Struct will help with structural and infrastructure work, and CarbonTrace will help businesses see their carbon footprint and bring it down.

Who we are

Rooted in Africa, carried in many voices.

One name, read through many traditions. These are four of them, among far more than four.

  1. 01
    Pan-African · Ubuntu

“The place where knowledge is born, shaped, and sent into the world”

Cakale draws on Ubuntu (“I am because we are”) and the Bantu tradition where names carry destiny. A gathering point where wisdom, craft, and community converge to build something lasting.

  2. 02
    Igbo reading

“Chee ihe, karịa, lee n'ihu: think deeply, surpass limits, look forward with purpose”

“Ka” is pure Igbo for greater than, surpassing, let it be more. The name carries Igbo ambition: never settling, always exceeding, always building forward.

  3. 03
    Yoruba reading

“A kale duro, a ka ogbon, a le siwaju: we stand gathered, we count wisdom, we move forward strong”

In Yoruba tonal logic, names are declarations, not accidents. Cakale reads as gathered strength, stretching beyond, standing firm.

  4. 04
    Hausa reading

“Your strength, your character, your destiny made real”

Hausa names carry the weight of community and ambition, given to those expected to lead communities and build institutions, not just businesses.
